It had all the basic stuff needed for a comfortable stay - comfortable bed, delicious food, toiletries.

Drainage problem when it rained one day.

I enjoyed my stay at Timber House. The hotel was beautiful, and you can't beat the view from the rooftop at breakfast. The staff were lovely especially Susmita. Willing to go above and beyond. The location is really great. You can walk most places within 15 minutes and Swayambhu within 30. I used the $10 shuttle service to and from the airport, which made things easier for me. Overall I would recommend staying here.

The only con is that the walls are a bit thin so if you're a light sleeper ear plugs would go a long way in increasing your comfort.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was neat and well-maintained, with all basic amenities available. The staff was courteous and quick to respond to requests. Food quality was good and the location is convenient. Overall, a good experience and worth the stay.

Awesome location and staff. Special thanks to Ram who was thoughtful and helpful. Great rooftop bar and restaurant, close to popular Thamel area but not noisy at night. It was great stay with them.

Overall, great experience one small thing is the railings on the steps between floors could be higher for safety.

The staff is well trained, polite and truly gives the best hospitality. A special shout out to Ram Prasad who ensures the guests have a great stay. He was managing the show with such patience and professionalism. 10/10 for him!The bar has a great rooftop view which was very on top!

Everything was great. The only thing I think could get better is Internet speed. I struggled a bit since my mobile network was also weak in the room so I had to step out to make bookings etc.

Rooms were spacious, safe place, rooftop breakfasts and evenings were a treat. Breakfasts were tasty and generous. The staff were all accommodating and kind. The day guard, sorry I forgot his name, was very welcoming, knew our names and was very helpful. The reception staff were all supportive and ready to help. The staff at breakfast were amazing.

Perfectly located in the heart of Thamel, within walking distance to explore the city. The rooms are basic but clean, and for the price you pay, the value for money is excellent. The hotel looks a bit more dated in real life than in the pictures, but everything is still well maintained. The absolute highlight is the staff — incredibly friendly security, waiters, and reception team. The rooftop terrace is another big plus, offering beautiful views and lovely morning sunshine. Highly recommended!

The rooms and bathrooms could do with some updating as looking a little worn. I kept getting good morning messages on whatsapp weeks even before i stayed there. Our flight out was before we could have breakfast and though we did get a breakfast box, its contents had room for improvement.

Such a luxurious feel after saying no to the creature comforts of the high Himalayas. Food was great. Beds, cozy. Hot showers. Lovely staff that made us feel so welcome every time we stepped inside.

The hotel is nice, rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a great rooftop terrace with restaurant where you can enjoy the mountain views on a clear day. The staff is always smiling and helpful. We also like the choices in the breakfast buffet.

All rooms are at the same staircase as rooftop restaurant and walls are not soundproofed, so if the restaurants guests are noisy you may hear it if you stay on top floors room.

The place was well located, impeccably maintained and warm. The rooftop bar and the restaurants were really nice. The breakfast buffet was generous and had plenty of options for all dietary types. The staff was cordial and gracious. Sanju at the restaurant was very sweet and warm. Would definitely stay here again.
